Crime Prevention

Our VISION is focused on making Shreveport the safest city to LIVE, WORK, RAISE CHILDREN and SOCIALIZE in America by:  

  • Partnering with PIPE – Priority Intentions & Practical Exchanges and Dads On Duty - USA to advocate the concept of POSITIVE PRESENCE PREVENTION versus INCARCERATION

  • Advocating the concept of PREVENTION versus INCARCERATION       

  • Hosting Crime Prevention Summits with influencers from Hip Hop music and street gangs     

  • Implementing ‘Community Based Policing’ in high crime areas   

  • Partnering with the Police Department to reduce city lawsuits by demanding more CULTURAL ENLIGHTENMENT training for all law enforcement officers       

  • Continuing my MOVE EMPOWERMENT workshops with the Goodwill Re-entry Program   

  • Transforming law enforcement officers into community servants versus military patrol officers      

  • Working with community liaison officers to build positive relationships between law enforcement and the community          

  • Working with juveniles and first time offenders to prevent them from becoming repeat offenders   

  • Investing funds into job training and small business development programs for ex-prisoners      

  • Working with state legislators to establish a Citizens Oversight Board
