Our VISION is to secure POLITICAL POWER for grassroots citizens by:

• Creating an Advisory Council to assist in legislating EQUITABLE and FAIR PUBLIC POLICIES

• Mandating continuing education for all council members in the areas of:  finance, real estate, tax law, law, real estate, oil and gas, and other critical subject areas        

• Rescheduling City Council meetings to begin at 5:00 pm instead of 3:00 pm to give more citizens an opportunity to attend council meetings       

• Creating a YouTube channel and link to the city’s website to broadcast all city council meetings, and other city government meetings for the citizens of Shreveport   

• Hosting monthly meetings in District B to keep residents informed of important issues       

• Maintaining a City Council Headquarters Office in District B to answer questions and complaints          

• Educating Caddo Parish students about the system of politics on a local, state and federal level, and the importance of political involvement in order to improve society         

• Working with the Student Government Associations at SUSLA, LSUS, Centenary and Grambling to establish a 20-Year Political Empowerment Master Plan for Shreveport
