Education

Our VISION is to build the intellectual capacity and character of OUR youth for maximum human capital output, and to help improve the entire Caddo Parish School System by: 

  • Linking QUALITY EDUCATION to ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT throughout the parish           

  • Advocating for reallocating funding to under-served schools throughout Caddo Parish       

  • Mandating CULTURAL ENLIGHTENMENT training for teachers, administrators and staff        

  • Working with local and state elected officials to increase teacher compensation           

  • Working to bridge the digital divide throughout the inner-city communities of Shreveport by creating Technological Empowerment Centers in those communities      

  • Networking with the education unions           

  • Creating a Youth Cultra-Social Entrepreneurship Program to help EMPOWER students           

  • Establishing Cultural Enlightenment Programs with consultation from cultural scientists like: Dr. Naim Akbar - Tallahassee, Dr. Jawanza Kunjufu - Chicago, Dr. Molefi Asante – Philadelphia          

  • Establishing NON-TRADITIONAL extra-curricular programs to help EMPOWER students         

  • Implementing a CULTURALLY RELEVANT curriculum throughout all public schools         

  • Increasing SAFETY in all schools        

  • Establishing Dads On Duty – USA Chapters at each school in Caddo Parish
