Our VISION is focused on building positive and productive HUMAN CAPITAL by:  

• Building Ujima Empowerment Villages that strengthen families suffering from generational trauma

• Promoting the concept, “It takes an EMPOWERED VILLAGE to EMPOWER OUR CHILDREN.”       

• Developing EMPOWERMENT programs to eliminate Louisiana’s negative title of ‘Worst State To Raise Children’      

• Partnering with Domestic Violence Advocates to develop prevention strategies for domestic abuse      

• Lobbying other elected officials to create higher paying jobs with better benefits for females/women         

• Investing funds into unique home based business entrepreneurship programs for females/women   

• Working with other elected officials to eliminate pay scale disparity between females and males       

• Advocating enhanced academic standards in day care, pre-school & head start programs      

• Advocating for the creation of Inter-Generational Programs that seek to build powerful relationships between youth and the elders living in their communities          

• Lobbying for tougher inspections of nursing homes to prevent elderly abuse         

• Advocating for increasing home based micro-business enterprises as the solution to escalating child care costs and high unemployment
